Custom Brand Icons

Custom Brand Icons is a community-driven icon set created by Emanuele (elax46) and rchiileea, originally built to fill the gap of missing brand and device icons in Home Assistant's default Material Design icon set. The collection has grown to over 1,490 icons covering a wide range of smart home brands and device categories. Brand coverage includes Philips Hue (light fixtures, bulbs, play bars, gradient strips), IKEA Tradfri, Aqara, Nanoleaf, Shelly, Sonos, Reolink, Apple, Google, Amazon Alexa, Tuya, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and many more. Beyond brands, the set includes purpose-built icons for doors, car manufacturers, Home Assistant addons, house rooms, modem/router ISP devices, windows and shutters, televisions, robot vacuums, battery status indicators, and floor plans. All icons are SVG-based and distributed as a single JavaScript file (custom-brand-icons.js) that registers them as a custom icon set in Home Assistant with the prefix phu:. Icons are also available on the Iconify framework with the prefix cbi:, making them usable in any web project. The icon viewer at elax46.github.io/custom-brand-icons allows browsing and generating a custom JS bundle with only selected icons to reduce file size. Installation is available via HACS (Home Assistant Community Store) or manual download. The project follows a calendar versioning scheme (YYYY.M.patch) and receives regular updates with new icons contributed by the community.
